If you can not find a specific resolution to your question, please feel free to contact us through the
Contact Us form. Every page on this site has a menu in the footer that contains
a link to this form. We look forward to hearing from you. If you are able to login, you can also send a

Q2) I registered, but I can not log in. What should I do?
After you have successfully registered, you will be sent an email to the email address that you used to
register. In that email is an activation link. You must click on that link before you will be able to
login to the site. While login names are not case sensitive, passwords are, so please check your keyboard's
caps lock key.

Q3) Why didn't I receive the activation email after I registered?
Some mail systems don't immediatley recognize an email from member.services@ActiveBoating.com and treat it
like spam. So check your spam or junk mail folder to make sure it was not sent there. It should not take
more than 30 minutes to receive your activation email (usually, on most systems, it is less than a minute).

Q4) What is an avatar and why do I need one?
An avatar is a pictorial representation of you. Any graphic or picture will do. It is used to show other
members who you are.

Q5) What is the best image size for my avatar?
The avatar pictures are conained within a 150 x 150 pixel box. If the image that you upload is already that
size, then it will not be distorted or take so long to load.

Q6) How do I get my avatar on to the web site?
The first time you login to your member account, the profile editor will come up. The first screen is the
avatar image upload screen. You can browse your computer to select the image that you want to use. Then click
the upload button and the image will appear in your avatar box. If you decide to do this later or you want to
change your avatar at a later date, you can use the profile editor link in your member page under your avatar
picture to access the profile editor.
