I don't know if it's an old "secret recipe" or not but we like it.

1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk

4 egg yolks

3oz fresh key lime juice

1 pie crust

Mix egg yolks and condensed milk together and slowly add lime juice.

pour mixture into pie crust and bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

let cool and then refrigerate over night, then enjoy.

This pie will not be green unles you decide to add food coloring, but with a little research you will find a "real" key lime pie is never green.

Try it and let us know.

Only that the smaller the lime the less juice you need. The recipe calls for 3-5 ozs of juice but with the small limes you find at walmart it gets realy tart with much more than 3 ozs of juice. The best key limes I've found have been at most pf the mexican supermarkets, since they come from mexico anyway. I think it's because you get to select your own, they are  not pre packaged.
