We are avid Crystal River Scalloper's, so I don't know how the season in going in Homassa or other locations.  If you do feel free to jump in!!!

I am going to say that yesterday was one of the better days we have had!!!!  We got to the scallop grounds in Crystal River, anchored up and got about a dozen scallops.  We moved (as that was not enough) and I thought I was going to have to dig my inhaler(I have asthma) out of the boat to use in between getting the scallops.  When you dive down for one scallop and see three more but only have enough breathe to get two, so you come back up for another breathe and dive down for the 3rd and see 3 or 4 more right there, YOU KNOW YOU ARE IN A SWEET SPOT!!!!!

This went on for the rest of our time out there.  We even had to get on the boat and rest then we got back in and got more!!!!!  When we got home and started cleaning them, we filled the bowl we normally use and as we were getting another bowl, I tried to get Stan to "donate" the rest to Steve(our neighbor), just so I could stop cleaning!!!!!!!!!!  He wouldn't let me do that, but Steve did come and eat some.  Even with feeding and extra 1 1/2(his son) person we still had enough left over for dinner tonight!!!!!!!!  So Steve if you read this come on over for scallop alfredo with linguini tonight!!!!

It looks like we are going Saturday AND Sunday if anyone wants to join us. Come on over, we'll all anchor within swimming distance so we can swim around and visit one another in between catching scallops!!!

When is the season over?

SEPT 10TH I THINK...PRETTY SURE!

I don't have a clue. I'll keep going till I get caught.  LO(L

September 10. I have a friend (dfan)  who wants to go again, but is only off on Sundays this month. We will have to see if we can get a group together before the end of the month to spend a Sunday over there and see what we can catch.

Well I guess we wont make it this year, maybe next

Thats only about 4 more weekends, we have so much work to get Lebitch ready, and with the other store sell hanging its hard to get away for more than a day. If we came over to go with ya'll we would want to head over Saturday eve, so we could be up and met you EARLY on Sunday.

That aint gonna happen anytime soon...
