OK so we have all done it.  But what makes this a folly is the conversation before we left.  So 2 weekends ago I tell the wife I wanted to go run the boat and get rid of as much of the old gas as possible and refill with non-ethonal for the winter. Well we were succesfull.   I thought we had filled up the last time we went out, but obviously not.  about half way between Deland and Astor we ran out of gas.  OK great, no more ethonal LOL.  Someone gave us a tow into Astor, we had lunch at Castaways, I got my pitcher of Landshark, and we filled up the family's tank and filled up the boat tank and went home.

Kind of uneventful, but still qualifies as a silly boat trick I think.  LOL

Darius can't laugh at you so if he does remind him his "folly" is captured on film!!!!!!!!!

Uneventful "folly's" are the best kind!!!!!

Absolutely, nobody hurt, had a nice day out on the river and no broken parts to fix.  And we achieved the objective of running all that nasty gas out LOL

I am not going to laugh.......  I am the last one to laugh
