Reacreational Boating for boaters who love boating, want to find other recreational boaters, boat forums, boats for sale, boat photos, and boating destinations

Hi all:

After a rough cold trip back from Catalina to Long Beach in their 28 ft Bayliner (twin engine Volvo Penta), my sister and her boyfriend thought it would be great to have a hot tub for the boat. So they invented a portable floating hot tub for boaters.

My question is whether anyone has any advice on how to distribute or market the TugTub. Do you see any great markets for this thing? Other than West Marine and the other biggies we're talking to, any great dealers, boat suppliers, etc? Or do you think just direct sales is the way to go?

We took it to the MAATS convention in Las Vegas and it generated a lot of buzz, but we're still trying to figure out the best way to go re getting it out there.

Get with Randy when he get's back from Texas. I bet he'd find a way to sell it thru one of his sites. And yes I think there is a market for them since we boat year round here.

I agree, besides randy will be the one who will be the most help getting you into our market. He will be back at the end of next week. Be patient, we are already interested, it's just details.
