All of these outboard claims, like the E-tec pulling the other boat backwards and kept going. It looks impressive, but I would like to have seen both boats get up and show their top speeds as well. I am betting the E-tec gets smoked because the prop they used had twice the pitch as the other. How does the Verdo hold up with a supercharger on it? And most of all.... what is the weight of your boat and the fuel consumption at what mile per hour? Any input that does not come from the prochure would be nice. I can tell you that my 13 y/o Yamaha's still run like new, which is unbelievable even to me. |

It would be nice to see one of those tests live, so you can see if they are comparing oranges to oranges. On the other hand, can you run on plane with one engine? I've heard that a lot of boats won't, but I saw one last weekend that was running with one engine out of the water. |
