Not really a trick, but check out my blog, to see how to set an anchor if you want the people on the boat to be able to win some money with the video/picture!!!

So I am changing my blog and did not want anyone to miss out on Stan's technique for setting an anchor---

Sadly, I missed the $10,000...................

by not bringing my camera with me to Disappearing Island this past Sunday!!!!! I am going to try to tell you my story without giggling all the way through it, but this is hard as I am already giggling!!!!! Anyway, we went with some friends, Dfan, to disappeaing island yesterday. The tide was coming in, so Stan said he wanted to put the bow of the boat pointing away from the island. So, I set the front anchor, and Stan was going to set the back anchor on shore. He got the anchor and stepped onto our swim platform. With anchor in hand he stepped off into what he apparently believed was waist deep water. Well.......... with the anchor still in his hand he came to the surface with a look of disbelieve on his face. He looked at me like I had done something, of course me almost on my knees laughing probably didn't help his mood. After he climbed back in the boat, complete with a soggy hat, sunglasses, flipflops and everything in between dripping wet, I asked how deep it was(in between giggling). He matter of factly stated, "I never touched bottom". After all was said and laughed about and done, we had a GREAT day on the water. I will forever after make sure I have my camera. That shot would have won me some money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
